How we do it.
External Wall Insulation
Firstly scaffold is erected to the site by one of our sub-contractors.
1st Fix Enabling works then takes place which includes:

  • External fixtures and fittings removed
  • Plumbing and electrical goods extended to suit system
  • If any pre installation substrate work is required this will be carried out at this point.
  • Protection to Surfaces including windows and doors, walls fences and hedges as well as floors and pathways.

The render system is then installed:

  • Base/Stop Track installed. Along with Verge Trim if applicable
  • Insulation Boards fitted EPS/Mineral Wool/Phenolic (System dependent) by either mechanical fixing or adhesive and mechanical fixing (System dependent)
  • External Wall Insulation

  • 1st Layer of Base Coat is then applied which is to include all beading and reinforcement mesh.
  • 2nd Layer of Base Coat is then applied to a trowelled or sponged finish
  • After adequate drying time the decorative finish of the client’s choice will then be applied.
  • Acrylic Texture
  • Silicone Texture
  • Dash
  • Monocouche
  • Brick Effect Render
  • Brick Slips

The 2nd Fix Enabling Works then takes place which includes:

  • Re-installation of fixtures and fittings
  • Removal of protection and clean down
  • Removal of waste from site
  • Final Checks/Touching up

And finally work is handed back to the client and guarantees of work are provided.
